VNEEC conducts a national survey on HFCs and substances that destroy ozone layer

National survey program for inventory of HFCs and ozone depletion substances (ODS) by the Climate and Clean Air Alliance (CCAC) and Multilateral Protocol (MF) current implementation funding through the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the World Bank. The purpose of the program is to investigate and investigate HFCs and ODS substances nationwide.

VNEEC is the unit supporting the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the World Bank to carry out survey and survey purposes:

– Develop national inventory of HFCs and other ODS imported, used and stored in Viet Nam;

– Evaluate the current and projected use and emission levels of HFC and other ODS;

– Investigate and report on the past and proposed use of current and new ODS, including alternatives with global warming potential as well as sectoral allocations.

In the framework of implementing the program, VNEEC conducted surveys and surveys in 60 related enterprises nationwide during the period from September 16 to October 19, 2016.

The survey has collected a lot of useful information, data as well as lessons for the purpose of the Program.
