Policy Recommendations for Operationalizing Article 6 in Viet Nam

1. Description of Project

The study conducted under the Article 6 Support Facility aims to review the policy framework and develop recommendations to operationalize Article 6.2 in Viet Nam in order to improve the country’s capacity in operationalization of Article 6 through policy development and capacity building support.

2. Description of actual services provided by your staff within the assignment

• Task 1: Design a comprehensive policy framework needed to operationalize Article 6.2 in Viet Nam;
• Task 2: Review existing policies and legislations relevant to operationalizing Article 6.2 in Viet Nam;
• Task 3: Conduct a gap analysis illuminating policies and legislations needed to promote and enable Viet Nam’s participation in international cooperation under Article 6.2; and
• Task 4: Make recommendations to enhance/accomplish the policy framework for operationalizing Article 6.2 in Viet Nam
