Hong Phong 4 Solar 48 MW Project

Hong Phong 4 Solar 48 MW Project was constructed at Hong Phong commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province by Ha Do Binh Thuan Co., Ltd. The projects installed capacity and estimated annual electricity output exported to national grid is 48 MW and 91,142 MWh respectively.

The project activity uses polycrystalline Panel to recover solar radiation and generate power. Solar panels used in the project are imported from Hong Kong – China, with a lifespan of 25 years.

The project activity will result in a reduction of 77,400 tCO2e on average per year and 774,000 tCO2e over the first crediting period of 10 years.

Up to date, the project was developed and registered under Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and issued 102,235 tCO2e for monitoring period from 04/06/2019 to 31/08/2020.
