VNEEC participates in Technical Workshop on Petrolimex’s solutions for greenhouse gas emissions reduction

On September 15, 2026, in Quang Ninh, Energy and Environment Consultancy Joint Stock Company (VNEEC) participated in Technical Workshop on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction solutions. The event was organized by Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) as part of the Petrolimex – JCCP – ENEOS Technical cooperation program.

At the Workshop, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai, Technical Director of VNEEC, presented on Petrolimex in the context of the evolving carbon market. Based on the company’s specific operational and emission characteristics, he highlighted both the opportunities and challenges for Petrolimex, focusing on emission management and the development of a carbon asset strategy.

Additionally, Mr. Hai shared several approaches for Petrolimex to participate in the carbon market. Initiatives such as EV charging station deployment, forestry activities, and community-based emission reduction programs can support Petrolimex’s Net Zero goals and unlock opportunities in the carbon market in the coming period.

VNEEC will continue to support enterprises in their journey toward GHG emission reduction and carbon market participation, contributing to the development of a low-carbon economy in Vietnam.
