As part of the agreement, VNEEC will develop a comprehensive action roadmap for Petrolimex, including: conducting international best practice reviews; assessing current emission levels and establishing baseline scenarios; identifying feasible mitigation solutions; formulating short-, medium-, and long-term action plans; and proposing mechanisms for emissions monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV). The roadmap will culminate in a detailed action program aimed at achieving carbon neutrality for the 2025–2026 period and progressing toward the company’s long-term net-zero goals. The project is expected to take five months, from April to September 2025.
