Stakeholder Consultation on the Development of the “Quang Trach and Ba Don District Municipal Solid Waste Treatment Plant Project” under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS)

Mien Trung Green Environment Company Limited is the project owner of the Quang Trach and Ba Don District Municipal Solid Waste Treatment Plant Project, located in Phu Luu Village, Trung Thuan Commune, Quang Tri Province. The project has a treatment capacity of approximately 200 tonnes of fresh municipal solid waste per day and an expected compost production capacity of approximately 80 tonnes per day. The project applies waste sorting and biological composting technology to process the organic fraction of municipal solid waste into compost for agricultural use and soil improvement, contributing to reduced pressure on landfills, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and the promotion of a circular economy. 

To affirm the project’s contributions to environmental protection and sustainable development, Mien Trung Green Environment Company Limited is currently cooperating with Energy and Environment Consultancy Joint Stock Company (VNEEC) to develop and register the Quang Trach and Ba Don District Municipal Solid Waste Treatment Plant Project under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS).
