On May 27, 2025, at the office of Energy and Environment Consultancy Joint Stock Company (VNEEC), the Signing Ceremony of the Framework Cooperation Contract between VNEEC and Ecoeye Co., Ltd. (South Korea) was formally held. This marks an important step in strengthening the strategic partnership between the two parties in the fields of environment and climate change, particularly in the recycling of refrigerants and the development of the carbon credit market in Vietnam.
Ecoeye Co., Ltd. is Korea’s unrivaled carbon credit provider based in Seoul, Korea with over 220 emission reduction projects under mechanisms such as CDM, PoA, Korea ETS Offset, and KVER. These projects focus on three key areas: renewable energy, energy efficiency, and waste management. Currently, Ecoeye accounts for 40% of the total carbon credit trading volume in the Korea ETS, equivalent to more than 25 million tons of CO₂.

As a pioneer in carbon credit project development in Vietnam, VNEEC plays a pivotal role in connecting stakeholders and providing technical, policy, and market platforms to support Ecoeye Co., Ltd. in deploying a suitable business model in Vietnam. Both parties have agreed on specific cooperation contents and strategic directions for the near future.
